A sector on alert: beef exports continue to record monthly drops in volumes and prices

The local meat sector does not raise its head. Added to the inflationary pressure, rising costs and the drought, is now the drop in the volumes of beef exported during the months of September, October and November. Also international prices recede.

In this regard, the monthly report prepared by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Meat of the Argentine Republic (CICCRA), indicated that last October exports of Argentine beef fell for the third consecutive month, where compared to September the volume sold to the world fell by 3.1% and accumulated a decrease of 11.6% with respect to the peak reached in July of the current year.
