Livestock union files injunction against food imports

Chihuahua, Chih., The Regional Livestock Union of the state, as well as potato and apple producers from the entity, initiated two amparo lawsuits against the Opening Agreement against Inflation and Famine (Apecic) of the federal government, to stop the free importation of food, considering that its health and safety are at risk and, with it, the sale of calves and live cattle from Chihuahua to the United States.
