Meat exporters insist on their rejection of distribution by half carcass and warn of health risks

While the Government has not yet published the resolution that should order the use of mechanical means to unload the half carcass, the beef exporters insisted on requesting a change in the marketing system of the cuts . Also as a result of the death of two people in the Berazategui district of Buenos Aires for allegedly having eaten offal in poor condition, the Argentine Consortium of Meat Exporters (ABC), which brings together the majority of meat that sell abroad, said that “it is imperative to evolve to an efficient beef production and marketing system , with guarantees of safety, traceability and sustainability.”
