Meat exports increased more than 10% in 2022 and generated revenues of USD 3.5 billion

In 2022 , beef exports reached a volume of 631,995 tons by product weight and generated income of USD 3,458 million. In relation to 2021, exported volumes increased by 10.9%, while prices were 24% higher in the year-on-year comparison. This was detailed in its monthly report, the Consortium of Argentine Meat Exporters ABC.

The increase in the volumes sold to the world was recorded despite the fact that restrictions apply to the export of the 7 main cuts that are consumed in the domestic market, such as roast, matambre, vacuum, roast cover, among others.
