The head of the National Animal Health and Quality Service (Senacsa), José Carlos Martin, argued that Paraguay ended 2022 in 9th place among the largest meat exporters in the world, which is why it continues to be in the top ten of the industry. However, he indicated that there is a forecast that this year he could be out of the ranking. In communication with the program “Así son las cosas”, broadcast by Universo 970 AM, the head of the veterinary service mentioned, contrary to some publications, that Paraguay closed 2022 being in 9th place in the ranking of the largest meat marketers in all the world, so it can be said that it continues to be among the ten largest exporters of red protein.
