The ranchers consider that they alone should not bear the burden of the reduction in cattle prices, because while their purchasing power, their income and their utility decrease, the price of beef continues in an uninterrupted upward trend.

They consider that this factor must be governed by the economic laws of free supply and demand, but that variations are not properly transmitted throughout the chain.
