The Government negotiates to open more meat exports: almost US $ 600 million extra would enter

he Secretary of Agriculture, Juan José Bahillo, negotiates with the refrigerators a relaxation of the stocks for beef. If a greater opening of that market materializes, this year an extra 100,000 tons could be exported over the projected 620,000, which would mean some US$580 million if the international value of some US$5,800 per ton, on average, is maintained.
