The Vice President of the Federation of Argentine Regional Meat Processing Industries (FIFRA) and Vice President of the Institute for the Promotion of Argentine Beef (IPCVA), Daniel Urcía, indicated that “clearly, there is a commercial interest of the large export meat processing plants with the cut-up standard , this sector of the industry seeks to make the business model of the butcher shop disappear to generate a concentration”.
