With the end of the half beef, the Government hopes that the price will drop

In just over 60 days, the Government will put an end to the marketing of beef and pork through the media carcass. Pieces of meat of no more than 32 kilos must come out of each refrigerator, which will arrive at the butcher shops selectively according to what each point of sale requires. This change in the commercial scheme should benefit the workers in the meat sector -who will stop carrying around 100 kilos of meat on their shoulders- and at the same time the consumers, because if they gain in efficiency they should lower prices by the counters.
